Support
Here's how to fix the most common things yourself, and how to reach us when you can't.
Contact us
Email bratt.gustaf@gmail.com. If your question is about your account, include your username. You'll find it under Profile, below your name.
If something isn't working, tell us what you did and what happened. A screenshot helps.
Delete your account
- Open Profile.
- Scroll down and tap Delete account.
- Read what will be deleted, then tap Delete account again to confirm.
Your account is deleted right away, together with your profile, your shows, the songs you've heard, your badges, and your notes. This can't be undone, and nothing can be recovered. If you sign in again, you'll get a new, empty account.
If you signed in with Apple, Heardlist also removes its access to your Apple account. If Heardlist is still listed under Sign in with Apple in your Apple Account settings, you can remove it there. If you signed in with Google, you can remove Heardlist from the third-party connections in your Google Account.
Just want to be less visible? Turn off Visible to others under Profile instead. Other users then can't see your profile or your collection, and you keep everything. The privacy policy has the details.
Report or block someone
If someone's name or behavior breaks the Terms of Use:
- Open their profile, or find them in a list such as Feed, Find people, or Others who were there.
- Tap ••• next to Follow on their profile, or next to their name in the list.
- Choose Report, or choose Block. When you report someone, you can tell us what the problem is, but you don't have to.
Reports come to us, and we act on them as described in the Terms of Use. The person you report isn't told that they were reported, or by whom.
When you block someone, they can't see your profile anymore, and you won't see theirs. Any follows between you are removed. Blocking can't be undone in the app yet, so if you want to unblock someone, email us.
If someone threatens you or you feel unsafe, contact the police.
Where setlists come from, and how to fix one
Every show and setlist in Heardlist comes from setlist.fm, a site where fans write down what was played. That's why a setlist can be missing a song, have one in the wrong place, or not exist yet. Songs that were played from tape, such as an intro, don't count as heard.
To fix a setlist
- Find the show at setlist.fm by searching for the artist and the date.
- Sign in, or create a free account, and edit the setlist there.
When the fix reaches Heardlist
- An artist's most recent shows, and setlists added to them, reach Heardlist automatically. Heardlist looks for them when someone searches for the artist in Log a show, at most once every 6 hours.
- Corrections to a setlist Heardlist already has, and older shows or setlists added later, aren't picked up automatically yet. If you've fixed one, email us a link to the show on setlist.fm.
A show without a setlist can still be logged. Heardlist says “No setlist yet on setlist.fm,” and you can log that you were there anyway.
A show is missing
- Tap Log a show (the plus button), search for the artist, and use the field above the list to filter by city, venue, country, or year.
- Still not there? Look for it at setlist.fm. If it isn't there either, you can add it with a free account.
- Once it's on setlist.fm, search for the artist in Heardlist again. A recent show is picked up within 6 hours. An older show added to setlist.fm later isn't picked up automatically yet.
- For artists with a very long history, Heardlist lists the latest 1,000 shows, so a much older show might not be there.
If the show is on setlist.fm but still missing in Heardlist, email us a link to it.
